The modest goal of this blog site is to construct a nation, not delineated by geographic borders, but by philosophical ones; a nation administrated directly by its citizens, connected to each other via electronic technology. These citizens will make, judge, and execute laws without the interference of middlemen.
WHY?
It is time. The technology of the Internet already allows people to interact in a borderless world. This interaction presents an opportunity that has never existed before; the next logical extension as communication reaches everyone with proximity to a connection.
So why is that important? Because now people around the globe can subscribe to and be protected by a government that guarantees the freedoms and transparency required to operate fairly and efficiently. Instead of being a servant to a government, they can participate in its operation.
Consider this the "bazaar" development of government as opposed to the "cathedral" style we now live in. Everyone is invited to participate; everyone is encouraged to write the law.
NO NEED TO RE-INVENT THE WHEEL
Most of the freedoms guaranteed in the western world
FREE MEANS FREE
The freedoms in the U.S. Constitution must be guaranteed. However, we wish to extend the constitution with the following law:
The freedom to conduct one's life as that person sees fit, as long as the person respects the rights and properties of fellow citizens.
What does that mean? It means the right to do whatever one wants to do as long as that person does not infringe on others or their property -- the right to worship, the freedom of sexual orientation, even the right to abuse one's self, through alcohol or drugs. This statement alone will rid us of the wasteful expense associated with enforcing these laws.
